In-Person Activity

In order to conduct ANY in-person activity, either on-campus or off-campus, all student organizations must have the activity approved by Student Affairs. If you are processing requests through an academic unit, you must ALSO go through this process to have the activity approved by Dean Bonner.

Requesting In-Person Activity

  • EMS Reservations: Use this form for any reservation that can be made through EMS. This includes the following spaces:
  • On-Campus Reservations Outside of EMS: Use this form for any on-campus reservation that is not available through EMS. This includes the Cathedral Lawn. Requests for the Lawn must be submitted 30 days in advance.
  • Off-Campus Activities: Use this form for ANY off-campus activity, including travel. (Exception: club sports)
  • All Club Sports: Both competitive and recreational Club Sports should use this form for ALL activity requests.

Travel

Standards and Guidelines related to Safe Mobility are applicable to all student organizations. In general, student organizations should not involve travel away from campus.

High Risk Posture

Travel related to student activities cannot occur in High Risk Posture.

Elevated and Guarded Risk Posture

Student organizations may travel with the permission of Dean Bonner. A Travel Request Form with a health and safety plan must be submitted to Student Affairs a minimum of two weeks prior to the proposed travel. Student Affairs will start accepting Travel Request Forms and health and safety plans on Monday, September 14th.

Student Life
